I was so pleased to receive this on Saturday. My Award certificate from the RSR writing competition for Flying Solo, which is an extract from my new book, It shouldn’t happen to a microlight pilot. If you would like to read some of my work for FREE please go to http://www.mpward.co.uk and subscribe to my page.
When I was writing Eternal Flame, I was also painting on canvas the images I was seeing in my head. I painted five paintings, but I must admit one of them came from a painting by Boris Valejo the fantasy artist. It was strange that I imagined a Lion with Wings and a beautiful Princess from the Ice Kingdom was on its back then I saw his picture. It helped me paint my idea. Do you guys paint your ideas when writing stories? Eternal Flame won’t be available for at least a year yet, so in the meantime, take a look at my other books.
My new book ‘It shouldn’t happen to a Microlight Pilot’ has won an award before it has even been published or even been accepted by my agent. What about that. Wondering how I did it?
The short version is I entered one of the chapters in a short story competition and it won. For now why not check out my other award winning book ‘Sam to the Ends of the Earth’ available in all formats including audio.
Sam to the Ends of the Earth is now available as an audio book. I particularly enjoyed the narrator playing the part as the witch. Have a listen it’s FREE if you have an Amazon account.
